Introduction
Being a customer or supplier to a Combineering Group company, you must follow some minimum standards of Business Ethics including responsible sourcing, anti-corruption etc. This document is a quick guide to the most important ethical issues to consider when supplying or receiving goods and services to or from a Combineering Group company. If you have any doubt, you can always ask your Combineering contact person to clarify if you are in conflict with the standards.
Being a customer to Combineering Group company it is important to understand that violation of the standards may bring Combineering in bad standing.
Anti-corruption
You should not violate or conflict with anti-corruption laws and regulations. You should not, directly, or indirectly, offer, promise, authorize, solicit, or pay to influence public officials to obtain improper advantages; influence individuals to violate his or her duty.
General compliance with law and regulations
You should operate in compliance with applicable laws, standards, rules, regulations and permits including but not limited to those relating to environment, waste, transport, hazardous material, workers safety, tax, and business operations.
Bribery
You should avoid any form of bribery, facilitation payment, blackmailing and fraud.
Gifts and hospitality
Combineering employees are not allowed to give or receive gifts, hospitality or entertainment that could raise concern about our integrity.
Privacy
You should safeguard and make proper use of confidential information to ensure that company and employees privacy rights are protected.
Labour rights
You should respect the human rights of workers; not use child labour; provide a workplace free of discrimination and harassment; respect agreed and reasonable working hours and conditions; respect freedom of association.
Health and safety
You should maintain a healthy and safe physical and psycho-social working environment; educate and inform about potential risk and hazards including those of hazardous chemicals; prevent exposure to chemical, biological, and physical hazards.
Sub-customers
You should apply the above ethics standards or similar standards in your own supply chain to a practical reasonable extend.
Right to Audit
Combineering shall have the right to conduct relevant audits at your company. You should save and keep safe all documents and records which are relevant for our cooperation for a period of 5 years.
Termination and Liability
In the event of a breach of these Business Ethics, such breach is considered a material breach and Combineering may terminate any and all cooperation with immediate effect and demand you to hold Combineering harmless of any consequential claims and losses.
