A truly sustainable transition is dependent on our ability to transform huge amounts of waste into an infinite resource, recycling again and again so that future generations can inherit a green, clean world.
Over the last four decades, we have developed several standardized waste recycling solutions which have been implemented in and across industries. Our large-scale circular methods stand out because they consist of highly specialized solutions – each one developed to maximize recycling rates, reduce waste, and reduce CO2 emissions.
Combineering is a green tech development company that promotes the circular economy. When we have developed a new standardized waste recycling solution, we enter into long-term contracts with multiple suppliers and receivers and thus generating recurring revenue for every ton of waste. We also assist our customers with managing logistics, notification, and ensuring full legal compliance. In short, our business grows with every ton of recycled waste.
Our work proves that the potential to transform waste into resources is endless. With our innovative and professional approach to sustainable waste handling, we challenge and improve existing technologies and our standardized solutions have been implemented by international businesses and public entities.
Combineering has an experienced and dedicated management team with both deep insight into the company’s solutions and clear visions for the future.
Career growth at Combineering!
How was the transition from Project Specialist to Supply Chain Planner?
The transition from Project Specialist to Supply Chain Planner has been a smooth process. I gradually handed over my projects while taking on new tasks in my new position. This transition took just under 2 months, and I’ve received fantastic support and backing from colleagues Pernille Isaksson and Henrik Mørch, so it has been a pleasant process.
What is the difference between your old and new responsibilities?
I have transitioned into a more coordinating role, with responsibility for “Waste to Energy to Denmark + Other (besides Sweden).” Previously, as a Project Specialist, I was responsible for daily logistics and operations for projects. Now, I have a more overarching role, which includes responsibility for the financial aspects, forecasts and the overall management of projects within “Waste to Energy to Denmark + Other.” I also act as a liason between Sales, the Project Specialists, Suppliers and Receivers.
Are you still working with the same colleagues, or are there new ones?
I’m still in the same department, although in a slightly different way than before. But I still have the same wonderful colleagues close to me.
When did you start at Combineering?
I started at Combineering on March 1st, 2023, so it’s almost been 2 years.
Combineering was born in 1982, when we first utilised waste from the food and pharmaceutical industries as feed and fertiliser. Since then, our mission has been to maximise the use of waste with a focus on a green and sustainable outcome. We have built expertise in identifying the potential of any type of waste and developing new technologies to extract new raw materials or find new uses. The need for a green transition is even more pressing today, and our mission is therefore to intensify our efforts towards circular solutions with the aim of making the world greener and more sustainable.
