It was Combineering who could walk on stage to receive the Sustainability award at EY’s annual Entrepreneur Of The Year show, which took place in Lokomotivværkstedet in Copenhagen on 24 November. On behalf of Combineering, Carsten Park Andreasen, Lars Vedel Jørgensen, and Kim Bjørn Christensen accepted the praise from the jury.
“I am incredibly proud and happy to receive this sustainability award. It highlights the targeted and long-term efforts we have made at Combineering to make waste into a valuable resource through our specialized solutions, which help companies reduce their CO2 emissions,” says Carsten Park Andreasen, Combineering CEO.
It is only the third time EY has given an award in the sustainability category, and especially Combineering’s focus on circular waste-handling solutions was essential for the EY jury:
“The jury was excited about Combineering’s ability to make enormous amounts of waste into useable resources. Combineering calls it ‘Making waste our infinite resource’, which addresses the important sustainability agenda. They are relevant as ever,” says Søren Smedegaard Hvid, partner at EY and director at EY Entrepreneur Of The Year. He also highlighted the fact that Combineering develops innovative solutions and has created impressive growth.
